How to Decorate Your Outside Space

1. Seating

The summer 2022 patio trend is bring your lounge from inside your home outside onto your patio! Putting a nice lounge couch on your patio will create a relaxing spot to read a book, hang out with friends/family or to do work! Wicker couches are in! Wicker is perfect for outdoor patio furniture, it is weather resistant and perfect for Florida! When choosing couch cushions, we would suggest getting two sets of cushions, just in case! Have fun with the pillows on the couch, a lot of people love the minimalistic look, however, we LOVE a pop of color!

2. Greenery

Vertical plants are trending this summer! Planters are a great way to add color to your outdoor space, they do require some upkeep, but if you don’t like doing that there is always an option to buy fake plants and use those for decor! Plants are a very easy way to change the entire look of your patio and there are so many ways to decorate with them! You can hang them, get some fun pots for them or put lights in them!

3. Lighting

Lighting is Key! It can completely change the look of your outdoor patio, at night of course. You can hang up string lights above a table or your lounge area! Putting up string lights is not hard to do and doesn’t take long at all! Another great lighting option for outdoors is by getting outdoor lamps to really enhance the lounge feeling!

4. Bar Cart

Going in and out of your house to get drinks or snacks while sitting outside can get very annoying! Bar carts that have wheels are an easy fix and also look great outside! You can load up your bar cart with whatever you need, wheel it outside and then enjoy your time outside without going back and forth so much!

5. Fire Pit

Who doesn’t love s’mores in the summertime? A fire place is a great option for your outdoor space! It is a great place to gather around with your friends or kids! Fire Pits are an easy addition to your patio that will help create a relaxing environment. They are easy to maintain, just make sure you get a cover for it so that the rain doesn’t ruin it!

6. Dining Table

An outdoor table is a great place to gather with the family or friends to enjoy a nice meal outside. Starting your day off with breakfast outside is a great way to start the day! Wicker chairs are a great option for seats because they are very comfortable and weather resistant. Pop a couple of cushions on the seat and your outdoor dining table will look stunning!

7. Privacy

Need a break from your neighbors? A privacy screen is a great way to separate your outdoor space from your neighbors. Not only does it give your home some privacy it also adds to the ambiance! If you get a privacy screen like this one it is a great spot to hang plants from or to hang string lights on! Curtains and fences are also a great way get some privacy!
